Whether you’re covered through an employer’s benefits plan, recovering from a car accident, or dealing with a workplace injury, we handle the paperwork so you can focus on your health.

Extended Health Care Benefits

If you have Extended Health Care (EHC) insurance through your employer, we can often submit claims directly to your provider, ensuring payments go straight to the clinic. Many plans cover physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, and orthopaedic products such as bracing, compression socks, and custom orthotics—sometimes up to 100%.

Any copays or deductibles not covered by your primary insurance may be claimable through secondary insurance plans or paid out of pocket as a medical expense for tax purposes.

Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Coverage

If you’ve been injured in a car accident, your MVA insurance provides coverage for rehabilitation treatments, including physiotherapy, chiropractic care, and massage therapy. Dusk Physiotherapy accepts and directly bills all motor vehicle insurance companies, handling coordination between your private and auto insurance plans.

Ontario regulations require that private EHC plans be billed first before auto insurance claims can be processed. Our team will guide you through this process to ensure your claims are handled correctly.

Workplace Injuries (WSIB)

If you’ve suffered a work-related injury, the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) provides physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage therapy coverage. We accept and provide direct billing to WSIB, helping you get the care you need without added stress.
